I am a resident of Chicago and I remember going to Maxwell Street when I was much younger with other friends. At the time I didn't understand the significance of it, and by the time I realized how important it was, they were planning to destroy it..I'm all for change but I was so brokenhearted when I found out they were not going to preserve any of it. In regards to the Video and CD I think anyone who is interested in Chicago history should definitely invest in this item because there is a wealth of information here and if you are not personally familiar with this location after viewing the DVD you will feel like you were there, and the CD and booklet are a little something extra. I was really impressed with the information in this DVD and it is worth every penny.It's truly a wonderful history lesson...

This is real genuine classic rock music with a great selection of song styles - rock, blues, ballads, pop, new wave, even some that's a little country-tinged. Brian May and Roger Taylor bring their trademark Queen sound to the proceedings with distinctive guitar work and percussion, and Paul Rodgers has one of the greatest voices ever. They haven't lost their touch! This album beats anything in the Bad Company catalogue and is as good or better than any album Queen released in the 1980s. I love this CD by Sarah Brightman. I also like her new one - Symphony.
The best song is Harem on this CD. It's very moving. DVD features this song in 2 different ways. It's not a DVD of her concert, just mostly 1 song, and how they were making it.
I wish you could buy a DVD of her concert based on this CD.

I have a hard time listening to "Free As a Bird" as I can't help thinking about what George said in the Anthology CD: It felt weird for the three of them to be working on John's song and he wasn't there. He stated that he felt like John was in another room.
Besides that, the melody and the finished product in general just gets a Beatlemaniac to thinking about what John would have thought of major events that have happened since his murder (not the least of which were the Reagan years).
This import CD single, as everyone knows by now, includes alternate versions of "I Saw Her Standing There" and "This Boy," and the short version of "Christmas Time (Is Here Again)" (minus the mini-skits that was released to their fan club).
It amazes me, someone born years after the end of the original Beatlemania, ...

If you're a fan of the music from the Projekt label, goth-lite mostly, then this is probably inessential to you. Really this is an inexpensive disk intended to catch the eye, "almost free" and a woman on the cover looking rather pensive, and perhaps convert the purchaser to a loyal fan of the label. The music itself, not the best tracks, but okay. Not a bad intro for someone looking at the pensive woman and the "almost free."

I was first introduced to this recording in the 60's when Ken sent me a tape preview of this fascinating album. Over the years I lost the tape and missed his magnificent voice describing the very essence of each color so vividly you could "see" them dance inside your mind! Now I can finally relive the experience with this new album!!
